Spring in the Garden

At this time of year, I get very excited about sprucing up my flower beds and pots. I will admit that by the end of summer, I will totally poop out on weeding. But spring is about New Growth, New Life.

Here is a picture of my front flower beds. I need to remove old leaves, trim old growth and plant some flowers. A lot of this bed is perennials. Later, we’ll have mums, Lantana, elephant ears and phlox. This weekend, I’ll be concentrating on cleaning out, adding new Mulch and a few annuals to brighten things up.

How is your gardening coming along? What do you plant? What’s your favorite plant?  ( did you notice the head on my front porch? That’s part of my collection of heads.)
